Jorge Posada Unsure If He'll Play in 2012

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Yankees designated hitter Jorge Posada is not sure if he will play after this season.

Posada, who could also see limited action at catcher, is entering the final season of a four-year contract. The 39-year Posada says Tuesday he'll assess his physical condition before deciding whether to come back in 2012.

He says if he return he'd like to stay with the Yankees.

Posada is coming off surgery in November for a small tear in his left knee. He will not start catching bullpen sessions for another week.
